Reconcilers Evangelical Ministries, is a non-denominational Christian charity was founded in 1985 and registered in 1991 by late Rev. Vincent and Mrs, Ogoma Onwukanjo.
As former members of Reconcilers Gospel Band in Enugu Nigeria, Mrs Ogoma and Rev Vin began as travelling musicians proclaiming the gospel of Christ through song,
As the custom was for members of Reconcilers Gospel Band, if any of the members were leaving to travel to a different part of the world, they would be prayed for to continue the work of reconciliation where ever they go.
In 1980 young Vincent left for Ireland to further his education in study Sociology and Philosophy at St Patricks University Maynooth with the blessing from Rev Ohiagbara and other ministers from Assemblies of God Church.

He later moved to London and did his Masters in Thereafter Rev. Vincent attended a short course in theological studies at the School of Biblical Studies before going on to do his doctorate in theology at Minnesota school of theology.
After completing his MA in Sociology of Education South Bank University, Vincent married Ogoma in 1985 and migrated to the UK to continue as pioneers of Reconcilers Evangelical Ministries, serving the churches in Bible Study, Music and Drama.
Rev Vin was ordained as Minister of Religion for REM in November 1994 and worked as an evangelist, teaching and preaching and broadcasting the Word wherever possible.
The Reconcilers have been active in ministry for over 35 years, staging concerts and teaching song writing, establishing choirs for various churches, such as. Emmanuel Pentecostal Church (Lee HighRoad), OFNC (Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians) Sureway International Christian Ministries, Christ Disciples Mission (C.D.M).

Reconcilers founded their Children’s Club in Lewisham in 2000 which went on to a permanent location in New Cross named REM Educational Centre (REMEC) which serves a Leisure, Social and Supplementary School for the community.

REM Leadership
Reconcilers Evangelical Ministries is currently headed and managed by Mrs Ogoma Onwukanjo, who is certified as theologian in Biblical Studies.
